		<description><![CDATA[Badia Coltibuono Chianti Classico 2007 is made from certified organic grapes from Chianti Classico in Tuscany, Italy.  It is a beautiful, light-body style organic red wine made from Sangiovese, Tuscany's signature red grape.  Chianti Classico is a specific region within Chianti in Tuscany, Italy.  While not a Riserva (which spend more time in oak, providing a richer, fuller bodied wine), this wine is representative of a classic Chianti red wine style.  On the nose, one smells cherries, cherry tomato, with dry clay dust and herbal notes of bay leaf and oregano.  In the mouth, it possesses the fascinating quality of being both juicy and mouth-watering yet dry.  It is light-bodied with a touch of sweetness (or at least the fruit disguised as sweetness).  It is high in acidity with solid structure for such a light wine - perfect for food!  Start making some homemade red pasta sauce for this wine:  fresh tomatoes, onion, mushroom, oregano, bay leaf . . let simmer all day till the smell of the sauce permeates throughout the house.  Then crack open a bottle of this Badia Coltibuono Chianti Classico 2007 organic red wine from Tuscany, Italy.  You will not be disappointed. 		<description><![CDATA[Agricola Querciabella Batàr 2008 is a blend of pinot blanc and chardonnay from Toscana IGT.  The grapes are certified biodynamic.  The wine is gorgeous in the glass - imbued with gleaming gold and tinge of green.  The fruit is green apple and golden apple (from the chardonnay) along with peach, pear drizzled with sweet vanilla and honey.  All smells very much in balance with artful aging in French oak delivering a mellow underlying spice.  This is a complex nose.  The wine delivers a big mouthfeel which envelopes the palate and a finish that goes on for days.  It is full of body and dry with acidity that is present but not overwhelming.  92 points.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Pizzolato Fields Prosecco comes to us from the Veneto region of Italy.  The sparkling wine is made from organic grapes that are certified by BIOS, an Italian organic certification body.  The grapes are 100% prosecco (but are not from the region of the same name).  Prosecco is Italy's answer for sparkling wine.  It differs from the méthode champenoise, in that secondary fermentation takes place in the tank (rather than the bottle) - called charmot method.  This wine is creamy with fruity notes of peach, lime, lemon.  It is crisp, dry and refreshing with bright acidity.  All is in balanced in the glass, leading to fullness in the mouth and a clean finish.  Perfect for brunch, cocktails and with olives!  Great value. 89 points.]]></description>
