Sokol Blosser Pinot Gris 2008
"No crocodiles - just Pinot Gris in Dundee Hills"
Category: organic grapes, white wine
Tags: Dundee Hills, Oregon, pinot gris
Sokol Blosser Pinot Gris 2008 demonstrates that Dundee Hills in the Willamette Valley of Oregon is not only great for Pinot Noir but is also a wonderful climate for Pinot Gris. Grapes are certified organic. The nose of this wine is incredibly balanced with notes of peach, citrus, fig and orange blossom. It is full-bodied, unctuous, a little oily with a hint of bitter apricot. Food-loving wine.
